GBW's Alco C-424 #321 sits in Wisconsin Rapids on a sunny winter day.
GBW #321 was one of five second-hand locos acquired in 1979-1980 to cover increasing traffic on the railroad. The cab sides are not red -- that's a collection of years of soot built up on the locomotive, a common sight in the 1980s as the railroad cut back on superfluous service of its locomotive fleet. |
