A December 20, 1902 rear end collision on the A&W demolished a couple of cars, and frightened, but did not injure, a number of passengers. The mishap occurred when Engine No. 1 of the gravel train hit the regular engine, which had stopped to replace a hot pin. |

Iron- It's 1944 and the country needs steel - a lot of steel - to fight the world war. This Kewaunee Green Bay & Western gondola is spotted at the salvage yard, ready to take a load of scrap iron to the mill to be converted into new steel.

#682- This HO McKean 40' PS-1 boxcar kit came pre-painted and lettered by Accurate Finishing for GBW 682 with a 1967 rebuilt date on the car. The kit is a close, though not exact, model of the prototype, but it captures the overall feel of GBW's ubiquitous yellow boxcar fleet of the 1960s and beyond.
