David shared this photo from their August 16-17, 2003 West Bend, Jackson & Southern RR open house.  Tom and David were just beginning work on the louvered doors for the sides of the loco.  They recognize that the paint scheme has the wrong style lettering, wrong color railings and is missing the checkerboard stripes on the side; they corrected all of that when engine went in for final painting.

The engineer is a friend of the Gehrke's.
