The Strid Grain elevator towers over the cramped spaces of Norwood Yard.
Just like the prototype, Norwood Yard is the primary location for car classification on Marv's layout. The Strid Grain Elevator towers over the yard. The elevator is completely scratch built using PVC pipe and sheet styrene.

Norwood Yard was also the home of the Green Bay & Western's shops. GBW and Wisconsin Central power awaits their next assignment in Marv's scratchbuilt roundhouse.

Locomotive Shop
Heavier maintenance work was performed in the Norwood locomotive shop. The structure is scratch built and was selectively compressed to meet the available space on the layout.

McDonald Yard
McDonald Yard held the overflow from Norwood Yard, as well as serving as the interchange point with other local railroads. Cars destined for Green Bay industries are set out and other cars destined for the Kewaunee car ferry connection are added to our train.
