More photos of Deb Fifield's Hiawatha Lines.  I am very thankful that Deb shared all these photos with the Green Bay Route web page, and even more thankful for her patience while she waited for me to add them to the site!

The red and gray locomotives of the Green Bay Route still ride the rails on Deb Fifield's Hiawatha Lines.  Here is a C-424 and a RS-2 leading a freight train.

GB&W 302 & C&NW 1558, a Life-Like GP-7. The engines are being serviced at the small engine track in Winona.

GB&W 302 running eastbound at Minnesota on its way to Winona. The hopper car is lettered for Ohio Southern the railroad of Jim Heidger the editor of Model Railroader magazine. The trees are SuperTree kits.

C&NW 1515 is an RDS-4. It is an Atlas model painted by Deb Fifield. It is the South Winona switcher. The through trains drop their cars in South Winona and the switcher moves them to the yard in Winona.

Here's an aerial view of the layout.  Deb's scenery is based on Sculptamold and SuperTrees made by her son.  I really like the effect!

GB&W 302 switches the Minnesota Coal Dock. The engine is a Kato RS-2 custom painted by Jeff Fifield. The hopper car is a Hiawatha Lines car painted by Deb Fifield.
Train #3 arriving in South Winona with engine #302, an Kato RS-2 custom painted by Jeff Fifield.
This is the east end of the Winona industrial area. The grain elevator is Bay State Milling. There are several large industries in this area.
The Winona patrol tied up in Winona between runs. The engine is #985 and is a Kato RSC-2 custom detailed and painted by Jeff Fifield.
This is the wye that connects South Winona to Winona. Hemp's Scrap Yard lead crosses the west leg of the wye.
Milwaukee Road #947, has a Proto 2000 drive and an Athearn shell which Deb painted about 30 years ago. This photo was from her previous layout.
More of the old layout. The engine is Milwaukee #831, it is an Atlas model that Deb painted.
Deb's son Jeff and his son Jeremy. Jeremy is 10 and is blind. He has been running trains since he was 6. His dad built the Thomas for him.
