Casco was the home of Edward Decker, a transplant from Casco,
Maine, and the organizer of the Ahnapee &
Western in 1892.
This is the depot where Mr. Decker would have started and
ended all of his railroad journeys. The old depot was closed in 1958, and
razed by 1972. The agents at the dept were Tom Busch, Ted Gartzke, and
Harold Osborne from the late 1930's-1958.
