Eastbound Train No. 2 at the
Plover depot.
Bill Christopher chased Train No. from Wisconsin Rapids to Plover with his friends R.R. Conway and Sam Carlson and caught this image of C-424 #312 & C-424 #315 on the main line, framed by the Plover depot. The engineer is done talking with the crew on the ground and has just opened the throttle to depart. Those big Alcos were notorious for putting out a lot of smoke. |
