Reason #2 Forward

"It happens I love the original paint scheme the Green Bay & Western applied to its Alcos. Not to start anything, but I have to agree with my late father, when the GB&W went to all-red with GBW in large white letters, it left something to be desired.

The Red with the gray stripe & black pin striping was as pleasing a paint scheme as you could ask for. Simple, yet it conveyed some feeling of a vibrant railroad."
