In the early 1980s, GBW #312 was repainted in this bold red and white combination.  It was the only loco to get this paint scheme.

This photo of an eastbound "boat train" was taken at Footbridge (West Kewaunee) facing west. On the extreme left of the photo is the Kewaunee County Highway Department garage, and in the distance on the right is County Truck Highway C heading north to Casco. Directly behind the photographer is the entrance to Bruemmer Park. Kewaunee is only two miles ahead.
